Overview
Mr. Sood’s chamber is structured for serious courtroom work, with a limited number of juniors and interns selected based on merit, discipline, and clarity of purpose. The chamber is not an institution with layers of administrative support, it operates as a focused litigation unit driven by high professional standards. Opportunities to work with him are few, and expectations are high.
Applications are reviewed carefully, but only those aligned with the chamber’s working style are invited to proceed. The emphasis remains on structured legal reasoning, attention to process, and a steady commitment to courtroom preparation.
Work with us
Openings for long-term engagement in the chamber are rare and considered only when there is a genuine requirement. Applicants are expected to have prior exposure to litigation, a strong grasp of procedural law, and the ability to work with focus and independence. This is not a space for observational learning, it is a working environment where each member contributes meaningfully to active matters.
Internship slots are extremely limited. Applications are reviewed several months in advance, and selection is based on demonstrated interest in litigation, prior exposure to trial courts, and a clear understanding of why the candidate wishes to intern at a Senior Advocate’s chamber.
Mr. Sood believes that a Supreme Court internship should not be an entry point, but a step forward in a litigating student’s journey. Those who have interned in trial or High Court chambers, and who are prepared for serious engagement, are given preference. Certificates are not the purpose here, understanding advocacy is.
